2 wifi adaptors using for networking and creating a virtual router

Hi,

I have 2 wifi adaptors on my host machine. I am using Workstation 15.

I want to use 1 USB wifi for VMware virtual machines and other onboard wifi adaptor for different purposes.

I am not clear as how should I configure my networking in this scenario.

I am attaching a couple of screenshots as to show what error I am getting.

vm network.jpg

Now virtual network preferences.

virtual network editor 1.jpg

I tried to change the bridged connection NAT I get error.

can not change to nat.jpg

I am not a VMware professional so I don't understand how to configure bridge in such a way that I use one Wifi (USB as adaptor for VMs)

and other onboard wifi to be used for internet connectivity on host machines.

Change the bridged VMnet0 setting from "Automatic" to a specific host NIC.  Assign the second host NIC to one of the unused VMnets (2-7, 9).

Then in your VM settings, specify a "Custom" network connection, and choose the desired VMnet switch.

Thanks can you  give me a link to any youtube video or some keyword that I should read or understand so that I am able to more clearly understand what I am doing.

Right now I do not understand completely what is VMnet I do have seen that VMware Professionals route their traffics from VMs to different gateways and routes by

changing the configurations but I wanted to first test it on a workstation where it wont affect any production VM.

The only way to have multiple NAT networks is to use a router vm, something like that's in this link

It took me a while to understand and be familiar with concepts just mentioned these links

here so that it may help some one if they come here.
