the OS i am using is windows10 pro version , the language set is chinese.
i have tried to install 12.5.4-5192485 update and i got an error while installing which indicates it has not been authorised to write something into C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu ,i have checked this path,and there is a folder displayed in chinese language mening, in english, ‘Start Menu’ ,So i switched the system language to english and tried to install the program again. this time it works and no error occured.
all my previous versions of updates have not encountered such problem. i am thinking either your installation package or the recent windows update got a bug related to this issue and i think your developing team should know about this.
