10.0.1 Video driver multiple issues

Hi,

I have a lot of issues with the video driver of VMWare Workstation 10 (10.0.1)

WebGL is not supported and, as a web developper I need it to use Tilt 3D in firefox.

I cannot reach 5760x1080 resolution under Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 and I can with the Windows 8.1 Host and with all other Windows VM under previous Microsoft OS.

If you can fix it, I'll appreciate because I purchased the 10.0.1 to use Windows 8.1 because it's a prerequisite to Access to create Office Apps.

I had a look to the event manager of windows.

The issues with WebGL is not a VMware problem but a Firefox issue.

They are whitelisting the drivers that they enable for WebGL.

To force-enable WebGL, go to about:config and set webgl.force-enabled=true.

To force-enable WebGL anti-aliasing, go to about:config and set webgl.msaa-force=true.

To force-enable Layers Acceleration, go to about:config and set layers.acceleration.force-enabled=true.

On Windows Vista and Windows 7, to force-enable Direct2D Content Acceleration, go to about:config and set gfx.direct2d.force-enabled=true.

To force-enable WebGL, go to about:config and set webgl.force-enabled=true.
