I have used the workstation to create a virutal machine with NAT connection. The virtual machine works well in my computer with wifi connection, and it can obtain an IP address from virtual DHCP server successfully. Then I copied it into another computer without any network connnection (no wifi, no cable plugging). After starting, the virtual machine can not obtain an IP address from the DHCP server. In my opinion, whether it has a physical network connection or not, the DHCP server should work anywhere. I wonder why the server can not work well.
By the way, is there any document to introduce the inner of vmware network. Thanks!
