I already tried Microsoft TechNet, but they told me to come here since my question involved a VMware prduct [VMware Player.] Every attempt to rate the WEI fails and the following error message displays word-for-word:

Cannot complete assessment.
The assessment or other operation did not complete successfully. This is due to an error being reported from the operating system, driver, or other component.
Those extra spaces were not put there by mistake when I typed all this up. They were in the message, which, to me, seems a little fishy, unless it's a problem with VMware Player. Any suggestions to fix this?
