vmware player freeze when installing on win7 x64

Hi!

I'm having a prolem installing Vmware Player on Windows 7 64 bit. The install goes fine, but after the Virtual Network Editor part the installer and the whole OS freezes. It's in the end when says "installing packages on system". The same happens with VMware workstation.

I managed to install it, when I run the installer in WinXP compatibility mode, but then when I boot my Windows it freezes, when it starts the vmware services. I needed to roll it back. I have a Lenovo T61 laptop.

Is there a driver conflict or something else?

Thanks for your help!

OK. It looks that VMware (both player and server) has conflict with NOD32 x64 version. I can't install the 32 bit version however.

Any idea how to solve it?

Removed NOD32, and using different Antivirus software.
