hi, i have a problem regarding my vmplayer. i was running my vmplayer for a few months now, but all of the sudden yesterday i get the bsod (blue screen of death) with the message of "unmountable_boot_volume" error?
no matter what i do, i can not get it to the c: prompt, safe mode, last known good config, etc did not work...just keeps going to the blue screen.
i googled this problem, which i'm aware there are fixes for it, but you have to be able to boot to the command prompt and do a chkdsk /r command for it, which vmware does not allow....i can't even get vmware to boot from the cd drive....i did not change any software or hardware and the vmplayer has been running windows xp.
any help would be greatly appreciated...
