vmplayer 17 on ubuntu 20.04

Hi,

I install vmplayer 17 on ubuntu 20.04. I'm able to open the player app but when I try to open any Virtual Machine using for example .VMX format I don't receive any error and the virtual machine don't appear in the list. Any idea to solve it? Thank you!
