temporary files for vmplayer

This has just started to happen. I have vmplayer on other machines and have not seen this before.

OS: Debian Etch

Vmplayer : 1.0.3-34682

I have a Windows XP inside a VM, and after a few hours, a dialog box pops up saying

' temporary files for this virtual machine are stored in directory "/tmp/vmware-admin". which is on an almost full filesystem, Please free some fisk space.

Would you like to continue ? '

the filesystem has over 3.5 Gb available, and is not near full when the VM is running, but every few hours the VM stops working and pops up this dialog box, when you hit the 'retry' button everything continues to work fine.

Any ideas ?

Richard

Free up another 5GB and you should be fine.

I have this scenario on quite a few other servers which have free space of 1Gb or less on the root filesystem. (which is where /tmp is)

surely a 10gb vm doesn't then need a 10gb /tmp area.
