ssh to my freebsd virtual machine from host

Hi Team,

I have installed VMware player (VMware-player-3.1.1-282343) on my Host machine -Microsoft windows XP.

My guest OS is FreeBSD 7.1 which iam running using VMware Player.

I need to ssh to my virtual freeBSD machine from host machine.Right now its not connecting and says timeout but iam able to ping my virtual machine.

Please help me to resolve this.

Try "telnet

Hi ,

Thanks for the response.

ssh daemon was not running on the FreeBSD guest.I started it and now able to ssh from host.
