Hi,
My name is Hallan. Excuse my poor English...
I am a hookie in P2V.
I am create Virtual machine for my pc running WinXP.
In physical Pc with Winxp I have a older software licensied wich used diskette for registration license when 1st installation. In physical PC licence is Ok and software running very well. After registry, the diskette is not necessary as well.
I installed VMware Player in my notebook and running Virtual machine create for WinXP pc.
But, when running Virtual machine...this software (old software licencied) running in DemoVersion, limited.
How I do to solve this problem?
Thanks,

Some older software that I've used in the past transfered the license from the floppy to the PC, taking some system specific things into account, so that it can be used only once, but also allows to transfer the license back from the PC to the floppy disk by unregistrering the license. Not sure though whether it is possible to do such a license transfer in a VM, because such licensing software often uses "dirty" tricks to access the floppy disk.

It is possible to connect floppy hardware to VM. Didn't it work?
As mentioned above, it might not work, because reading the floppy has been made very non-standard for protecting the license.
If it doesn't work, you should be able to get a XP license with a very low cost or for free from somewhere, because they are not really worth anything anymore.
Reselling a Windows license may or my not be legal, it depends on your local laws. I would expect it to be legal in consumer business almost anywhere outside USA.
