Hello, I want to use vmware player virtual machines, but I know that a few weeks ago, there was some application I had on my pc that affected with setting on my pc somehow that makes vmware player enable side channel mitigations and the biggest problem is it slows down the virtual machine and the audio is choppy. I have read the solution on how to fix it by pasting the line in the vmx file to disable side mitigations, but it isn't working. I could just use a free trial of vmware workstation pro, but the free trial has already expired for me. can I please have help on this? thanks.
