Hi:
I had a 30 GB virtual disk... I expanded it to 40 GB using "Vmware virtual disk manager" (VMWare Virtual Disk Development Kit)... How can I initialize the added 10 GB without erasing the other 30 GB ?...
Sincerely,
Gonzalo Rojas Costa
See http://vmware-land.com/Resizing_Virtual_Disks.html for a few possible ways to do it.
Those mentioned resizing methods all requires booting into a virtual environment. It could still be done from the host in a non-virtual environment by using vdk from http://chitchat.at.infoseek.co.jp/vmware/vdk.html .
When the disk is mounted rw, use any 3.rd party partioning tool capable of resizing partitions.

You may want to pass that info along to Eric so he can update his page, then!
