In creating the VM App, the VM has a dynamic IP. However, when I'm looking to setup the mysql db on the VM, I'd like to grant permissions to the users for the different apps that are going to be running on the VM Client. Part of the grant process is the defining of the IP address of the mysql traffic to the mysql server.
I could use the "localhost", but I was thinking of using the IP of the eth0 on the VM client/appliance. However, I'm not sure that the IP of a given VM Appliance on a specific user's machine will remain stable, or will it potentially change?
Ie, if the user runs "vmplayer foo", will the IP of eth0 within the VM Appliance potentially change each time the "vmplayer foo" is run??
