disable automatic bridging on linux host

Is there a way to disable automatic bridging on a Linux host running VMware Player 3.0? All of my searching has only showed how for a Windows host.

What I'm trying to do is get vmnet0 to be specified inclusively, like bridges on other vmnets (-i instead of -e).

Otherwise, is there a way to disable vmnet0 entirely? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Do you have a "/usr/bin/vmware-config.pl" script? If so, run it. It let's you configure the networking stuff.
