Workstation home lab in Ubuntu 20.04

Hello I have purchased a virtualization course with VMware EXSi. Is it possible to create a fully updated lab within Ubuntu Desktop with VMware EXSi and vCenter?

I am going to install VMware Workstation for Ubuntu Desktop and create two virtual machines, one with VMware EXSi and the other with vCenter.

Will this work? any recommendations in this regard?

Hi,

This is commonly referred to as "nested virtualization" and yes it should work if your host has sufficient CPU and RAM resources available.
