Confused on where the Edit buttons are, people say Edit < Preferences or something like that but i cant find the Edit button! I only see Player. Help!
There are of course less available settings in VMware Player than in VMware Workstation Pro. Anyway, you can find them at Player -> File -> Preferences.

"Edit buttons" leads to think that you might mean Virtual Machine Settings. Those you get only when one particular VM is selected.
