A few days ago, when I trier to start a virtual machine, I got the "Operation was cancelled by the user" error message. I could not power off the machine (the Power off menu option was greyed out) even though I had last exited the machine by suspending it and not powering if off.
The issue now happens approximately once every two or three start attempts. The only workaround I found is to remove the machine from the list of Workstation machines, restart the computer, rename the machine, add it back to the list, and start it. Which is kind of annoying.
I have not found any solution online that seems to mach my use case (especially, I'm not using OneDrive).
How could I investigate the issue?
