Windows 10 VMWARE Workstation 16 running DOS 6.22 Virtual CD-ROM ISO issue

Needing help installing an ISO through virtual CD-ROM. Boots into DOS normally. Directing Virtual CD-Rom to the ISO file does nothing on BOOT.  Virtual CD-ROM is Connected/Connected on Power-up. I was able to use both the DOS 6.22 files and the next ISO(Windows 95) to create a VM in a different program but no luck on Workstation. When in DOS checking directory I show 5 files including autoexec.bat and config.sys. Upon trying to pull up disc drive directory I have no luck. Ran through all letters trying to find it. On A: and on one other letter I get a Not Ready Reading Drive A:? Abort, Retry Fail. Everything else it a not found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Attach your vmx file.

My DOS VM accesses it's CD-ROM just fine.

Have you gone into the BIOS/boot menu to select boot from CD-ROM?
