Windows 10 BitLocker cause virtual CPU fault

VMWare Player version: 17.0.2 build-21581411

Guest OS Windows version: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.2965

Host OS Windows version: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.2846

Virtual hard disk file (vmdk) stored on remote computer use Samba (Windows file sharing service, map network drive)

I have BitLocker turned on, and USB auto connect, so BitLocker should be able to auto unlock and boot.

However, it will fail to boot with this error says "A fault has occurred causing a virtual CPU to enter the shutdown state".

If click on OK, same issue happen again later.

If I disable USB auto connect (remove "usb.autoConnect.device0 = ..." line),

BitLocker will boot into this screen:

Connect the USB to guest OS manually and hit Enter, it will reboot and boot with no problem.

This issue is 100% reproducible in my environment.
