Hi,
I give up, so where is vmware.com hiding Browser Appliance 10.0? I have searched this site high and low and still not found it, I've used search bar too and no results.
Browser Appliance v10.0 is used in vmware Player....
Any clues to where vmware are hiding it on their large lybryth of a site will be appreciated. Thanks
Here is a link to the Browser Appliance: https://solutionexchange.vmware.com/store/products/browser-appliance

First of all the OP is looking for "Browser Appliance 10.0" (whatever that is) and these is no version information at the URL you provided so that may not even be exactly what the OP is looking for. Additionally and more importantly when one clicks the Try button on that page Norton DNS blocks the URL as a malicious web site!
That's interesting!
Could you please post the content of the "detailed report" which explains the security risks on the http://browser.shell.tor.hu site, according to Norton DNS?
It was flagged for: Drive-By Downloads (what's this?)
BTW If you want to use Norton DNS the IP Addresses are listed here.
On the Norton Safe Web page, the "Drive-By Downloads" threat is reported for a different website, namely http://hax.tor.hu/level38
I don't see any threat for http://browser.shell.tor.hu ; it seems that Norton Safe Web is aggregating reports in the same domain!
the link to that obscure website really has the browser appliance 10
the download is ok
AFAIC It doesn't matter if the download itself is okay or not, that's not why the site is being blocked and if Norton DNS blocks a given site then I have no problem not going forward!
Yep - I wonder why VMware uses such obscure sites for downloads ...
Anyway - using the browserappliance is as useful as using a Linux LiveCD for surfing - so why the heck ....
Just use a decent LiveCD and you get the same results.
