Hi,
I have an WinXp 32bit image that works on any winXP 32 bit host. Problem starts when I load this image into VMPlayer (or Server 2) on a Vista 64bit system.
Using Vmware NAT connectivity, the Windows XP guest can see any ip on the host's network and can ping the internet but it can't ping the host's ip address.
This is important because I have to browse to a share on the host from the guest.
I can't tell if this is a Vista networking issue or if it is a problem with VMWare.
I've disabled the firewall on the host btw.
Any tips?
