VMware Player with Symantec Messaging Gateway

I am using VMware Player v. 3.0.0 build-203739 with Symantec messaging Gateway 9.5.3-3
I got freeze/hang once a week at least. Below is the log about what's going on.
Any body can help, please.

is the drive where you store that VM heavily fragmented ?
did you ever shrink your VM ?

if possible consider to convert your vmdk to preallocated split format.
As it is now it shows extremly high write delays - I would expect corruption coming soon
