VMware Player access --virtual machine on a shared network drive

Is it possible to use vmware player and have the virtual machine on a shared network drive. Any info on this is appreciated. Planning to have ONE

virtual machines created by VMware and locate it on a shared NETWORK. So that 3 users can access the same. All 3 users will have VMware player running on their machines.

Thanks,

Sri

3 users access at the same time ?

Tricky - though it is possible.

You need a Workstation on the fileserver - then create 3 linked clones - one for each user.

Without workstation you have to do something like this
