How can I disable the drag-and-drop funcitonality for an Ubuntu VM using VMware Player 6?
When I have objects loaded into my clipboard on the host OS and click into the VM, it suddenly starts copying these files into the VM. I suppose this problem occurs because of an incorrectly working drag-and-drop functionality.
The "Guest Isolation" option is not available in the "Virtual Machine Settings".
I also tried running vmware-config-tools.pl and when it asked me for enabling drag-and-drop I typed "no". But after restart, drag-and-drop still works.
Someone has an idea, how to disable drag-and-drop or to deal with the described problem?

Edit: Of course, I want shared folders staying available.
