VMware Player 5 running Windows 8 no longer supports accelerated OpenGL graphics

Hello,

I created a virtual machine for Windows 8 Home, using VMware Player 4, and installed and ran our application sucessfully - running acellerated OpenGL graphics.  Upgraded to VMware Player 5, and the graphics are no longer accelerated. I have no opinion on Direct X.

I just thought I'd report this, to see if I'm the only one noticing this, or perhaps to log a bug.

Thanks

I'm replying to my own post:

Reinstalled Windows 8 x64 RTM on VMware Player 5, and OpenGL hardware acceleration is working again.  Obviously, I had installed Windows 8 on VMware Player 4, which it really wasn't tested for.  The OpenGL hardware acceleration was working for that instance.  The problem occured when migrating the virtual machine to VMware Player 5.

I don't really know if this path will be encountered by others, but I was concerned until I installed directly to VMware Player 5.
