VMplayer 3.0.1: VM is not resume

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with one VM I've build: on my laptop, I haven't any problems with it. But I gave these VM to one of my developpers, and when he load it, it's vm is in the state that I start to build it: none of my updates are available on it's loaded VM.

The laptop where I build the VM is an HP Pavillon 64bits, under ubuntu 10.04, 2.6.32-22-generic , with VMPlayer 3.0.1 build-227600.

VM contains an ubuntu 10.04, ext4 file system.

Developper VMPlayer is a 3.0.1 build-227600, and run under WindowsXP Professionnal, 5.1.26000 SP3.

We have no errors when loading VM on it's Desktop.

Here's the vmware.log when he starts the VM.

If you requires more informations, I can give them.

Please help.

Best regards,

Matthieu

Is the VM in a suspended state when it is copied / moved? If so, you should fully shutdown the machine prior to the copy / move.

Are the VM files located on a network (shared) drive or are they copied to the local drive?

Can you provide a directory of all the files in the VM directory?
