Cannot get the "Import Window XP Mode" to work on VMWare player. The error I get is:
"This feature of VMWare Player requires the VMWare VCenter Converter Standalone product".
I installed Converter Standalone and it does not the XP mode file.
Any ideas?
Addendum to my question: Was using VMWare Player 4, performed an uninstall and install 3.5.
Import XP mode now works. Will not upgrade to 4.0 until figure out why it won't import XP mode.
I can confirm the issue for you. Worked great previously, but under VMWare Player 4.0, it does not work.
why cant you just reuse the VM you created with 3.x ?
