Hello, VMware workstation 16 player,  I can't install WIN10 PRO with a modified iso with an install.wim. Is there a size limit or others ?

Ciao

I don't know a limitation for that on VMware Workstation Player., What is the error?
When you install windows 10 PRO you select to install the operating system immediately or later?

Expect a moderator to move your thread to the area for Workstation Player now that I have reported it.

Can you test the iso on a physical computer, does it do the same thing?

In addition to trying on a physical machine (as indicated by @sjesse ) you could check if the iso is created correctly using the PowerShell commands indicated in this link to see if it shows you the list of installable versions (it's a suggestion because I haven't tried it :-):

Find Windows Version, Edition, and Build from ISO or WIM file | Windows OS Hub (woshub.com)

Because it looks like a windows ISO image problem.
