I have been using VMWare Player for months with no problems and one morning it began running very slow and is almost useless. When Player is running both Virtual and Host computers lag terribly to the point of making them unusable. I am running Windows 7 and the 4.03 release of Player with the VMware tools 8.8.2. Windows had some updates that I thought were the problem but have backed them out and even backed out the player to an older version and nothing seemed to help. I saw another post about Java crippling in the same way and have uninstalled and re-installed that with no improvement. Anyone have any ideas on where I can continue trouble shooting?
