Hello everyone i am new here and i would like a little bit of help, first of all i am going to install Windows XP Pro 32-Bit on VMWare player 5,

How do i network my LAN card to Windows XP directly, what i mean is i want Windows to find the exact driver of my LAN card and use it directly,

Since your new here I'm going to give you a good piece of advice, RT*M! Smiley Wink

Have a look at Chapter 7 "Configuring Network Connections" in Getting Started with VMware Player (PDF).

The Windows Guest will not see what brand of NIC is in the Host and uses its own virtualized NIC and Windows should automatically recognize it and install the appropriate drivers.  Installing VMware Tools will also be beneficial and enhance performance.

If you want the Guest to be connected directly to the Host's LAN then use Bridged in the VM's Network Adapters Settings otherwise use NAT (or Host-only).  Also have a look at: Understanding networking types in hosted products (1006480)
