VMWARE Tools needs to be repaired with every guest reboot

Hello there,

I'm having the following issue: Everytime I reboot my guest operating system (Windows 10), I need to repair VMWare tools in order to enter Unity Mode or have other functionalities like copy/paste or moving files by dragging between host and guest.

I have already tried reinstalling VMWare Workstation player, but still having the same issue.

Any help on this will be higly appreciated.

  Best regards,

Bernardo

Have you tried completely uninstalling VMware Tools, then rebooting, then reinstalling them?

Yes, I have done that several times. The result is always the same. As soon as I reboot the VM, the features are gone, and I need to reinstall/repair the VMWARE Tools.

In fact, I have also reinstalled/updated the whole VMware Workstation as well.
