VMPlayer often hangs 2 minutes and then starts again

Hello,

I have a windows 7 x86 guest in a windows 7 x64 host. Graphic card is an ATI and system is based on intel cpu.

Often VMware Player hangs for 1-2 minutes and then start to work again, without problems, maybe just a VMWare player window resize.

When it is happening all machine hang too and this is the log in that moment

When it hangs the log begins always with these lines at that point

2012-06-25T10:26:33.749+02:00| vmx| I120: GuestRpcSendTimedOut: message to toolbox-dnd timed out.
and then there are the channel recreation or whatever...
I searched the forums but altough i found the same lines scattered here or there I couldnt find a resolution to the problem.
Is there?

Thank you WoodyZ,

unfortunately it is not that the case. The same machine is performing well in a similar configuration in a old pc and The only true different hardware is the graphic card that before was a professional NVidia Quadro and now it is just an user ATI Radeon.

I also setted the machine using the last advice from your link and setted it back many times to check, but that didn't solve the problem.

In my opinion this is the begin of the problem

2012-06-25T10:26:18.750+02:00| vmx| I120: GuestRpcSendTimedOut: message to toolbox-dnd timed out and I would like to disable what is sending those messages.

Thanks
