I am sure this is a novice question and will make me appear stupid.
That being said....
I am running the latest VM Player on a Windows 7 - home edition desktop computer. There are a handful of applications that I need for grad school that refuse to behave in windows 7, so I loaded an old version of XP pro sp1 onto VM player. I alocatted 1gb of ram, 40gb of system space and 10gb of additional space. The issue I am having is that my VM cannot see my USB drive. I have a USB flash drive that I need for some of classes (computer forensics is my study) and no matter what I try it cannot find it. I have attempted to load old versions of USB drivers, I have loaded the SATA drivers from my windows 7 motherboard.
Can anyone offer some advice please.
