I have a half dozen VM's created by VMware Player 6.0. Some of the VMs are located in not default locations (not ~/vmware). Whenever I start Player I only have the Home button - I need to open each VM I've created separately. The only time a Library is visible is after I open each VM and thus manually add to the Library and only in that session. On the next reboot or log out the VMs do not appear. This is not the behavior in WS. Is there a workaround or am I missing something.
TIA
This was solved as well by completely uninstalling VMware Player as I described in a previous post.
I also had updated my Ubuntu 13.10 kernel from 3.11.0-09 to 3.11.0-11-generic-generic before re-installing don't know if that mattered.
