Use an already created image of disk

Hi guys, i use windows XP and i have an image of my disk, whit all aplications installed(office, winamp, etc), created whit norton ghost that i keep to restore mi system when it crash. the question is, if a can use this image in VMware Player and if is posible how can do this, also if is posible (and how) use images created whit other software such clonezilla (an open-source aplication to make images clonezilla(dot)sourceforge(dot)net)?

Player wont directly read it, however, workstation might convert it for you.

It must be in the sv2i (Live state format ) and not the .gho format for the converter to read the image.

You could always trying restoring the image directly into the VM by using a boot into ghost to restore the image

Take a look at VMWare Converter (http://www.vmware.com/products/converter/). It will convert a physical machine to a VM. Worked for me.
