Unable to install VMware Tools (Option Grayed Out)

So I'm new to VMware (used to use VirtualBox), and I recently made a Windows 7 VM on VMware Workstation Player. After completing the setup and whatnot, I tried to download the tools but the option was grayed out. I tried everything, switching everything you could on the CD ROM settings, but nothing fixed it. Does anyone have a fix to this?

You can manually mount the ISO (it should be in the install directory; if it isn't, you can download it) and run the install.
