So I just solved an issue I have been having with my new W510 Win7x64 and VM Player. I had been trying to use the side USB ports, which are USB3, whereas the single rear one is USB2.
Does/should VMWare support devices connected to the USB3 ports? I currently have a wirelss mouse connected, and that does seem to be working ok through to the VM.
