After migration of my laptop from windows 7 to windows 10 20H2, i am having random troubles with USB, on the host (physical) machine.
Sometimes my USB phones are not working, are getting randomly disconnected and then reconnected (i can hear a click on phones).
But most critical if I run any VM from USB 3.0 disk sometimes after hours of working the USB gets disconnected for an instant, causing the VM to crash and losing all my job.
I suspect an issue with the USB arbitration service or something similar.
In event viewer I can see a lot of vmauthd ID1000 errors "Request by process 6444 to open 'C:\ProgramData\VMware\SSL\rui.crt': unrecognized pid". That folder SSL doesn't exist.
I have to say that I have running on the same machine also horizon client 5.5.0 for access to domain network.
Is this any kind of known issue? any idea how to fix this?
