Sizing the VM-player window

The VM-player window instnatiates to a size that I can decreae but not increase. Is there a way to configure it to be larger or is this a designed limitation of the free product?

What version of Player? What host OS? What guest OS? Have you installed the VMware Tools in the guest yet?

Thank you for your response. My version of player is: 2.5.3.

My host OS is XP Professional and my guest OS is Fedora 11.

I have not installed VMware tools. I am new to the VMware world. I read that this provides the ability to transfer files between host and virtual machine and to copy and paste between machines. If so, this would be very helpful. I've been trying to set up file sharing via Samba the past few days without success.

The other part of the Tools is device drivers for the virtual devices (video, network, etc.) and better memory management, etc.

Thank you. Upgrading to VMplayer 3.0 and installing VMWARE tools cleared up all my problems.
