Renaming VMware Player sessions

Hi,

I have set up 3 identical virtual machines and I use VMware Player to start these up, I want to change the name which appears top left (the name of the machine) otherwise I may get confused which session is which.

I have renamed my computer name within the windows session itself but this still doesn't appear to work.

I would be very grateful if someone knows a fix? Can anyone help?

I believe you are referring to the Display name of the virtual machine.

You can edit this in the .vmx file for the virtual machine.
