Problems with performance after installing VMware Player

After installing VMware Player 3.1.1 on a PC I have problems with Google Earth.

For example displaying Panaramio pictures takes a long time. It seems the network performance of my PC has been decreased.

I'm using:

- Windows 7 Ultimate x64

- 8 Gb internal memory

- VMware 3.1.1

- Google Earth 5.2
