Trying to perform software updates (primarily so I can view my Player in full screen), but never seems to be able to connect to the server. The address it is trying to connect to is https://softwareupdate.vmware.com/cds, which I can browse to but there appears to be very little on the page. I've tried this on two different broadband connections with the exact same result. Left running for 3 hours one time but no progress!! :smileyshocked:
Anyone got any ideas??
this has been reported so often and there is still no working solution
thats why I would just download the new version and do it the old fashioned reliable way:
uninstall - disable UAC - reboot - install new version - reboot - (re-enable UAC)
