Problеms with virual monitor

I have a windows 98 vm and when i power it on it says "This virtual machine is powered off or suspended", but when i connect to it with VNC Viewer i can use it, but sometimes the VNC Viewer program has keyboard problems. I never had this problem before. Also I am using VMWare Player on elementary OS.
