Player 15 - plug an ethernet cable into this computer

I created a VM running under Player 15 version 15.5.2 build-15785246 about a month ago and have launched it many times with no issues. Today, I see the normal lock screen and am able to log in and run Firefox browser and Command Prompt, but am unable to connect to the internet. Websites time out and Ping in Command Prompt cannot connect to any website.

In Windows Settings, I see Not connected - You are not connected to any networks.

I ran Troubleshooter on that page and get the following message: plug an Ethernet cable into this computer

Needless to say, the host (Win10 Pro) is connecting to the internet with no issues.

Please tell me how to repair this network issue with this VM.

Problem cleared itself after rebooting host.
