I am currently in the process of building an active directory lab in VMware Workstation 17 Player. I have installed Windows server 2019 and I am making that my Domain controller. I've also installed Windows 10 to use for my machines. VMware is not allowing me to run both of these machines at the same time. When I go to "File" and attempt to click on "Open" or "New Virtual Machine" the option is grayed out. I believe I need both of these machines open in order to join the domain between my Windows 10 machine & the Windows server. What could be the reason I am unable to run both machines at once or for one to run in the background while i work on the other?
