I installed Ubuntu 12 as a guest on VMWare Player running on Windows 7. Almost everything seems to work, but there is no sound. I can't listen to any audio that I play on Ubuntu. I also installed VMPlayer tools on Ubuntu in order to support the virtual devices, but sound doesn't work yet. When a I play a mp3 file with mpg123, an icon of VMWare Player starts blinking showing that there is sound in output, but Windows play nothing. Do I have to install another driver in order to play audio on Linux running as guest on Windows 7?
