I'm working with VMware Workstation 16 Player and having an issue after several time expand the disk capacity. It originally run on 50GB then expand to 100GB and the to 150GB.
The reason I expand the disk space cause I'm trying to restore an image into a VM with this VM (run a bootable acronis mounted to the VM CD/DVD SATA, the image that i want to recover is located in drive C). The recovery is failed several times because of the insuficent storage space. And comes to the time that i expand the disk space to 150GB, the recovery task is run until about 70% then failed because again the insuficent storage. I try to cancel the recovery task and boot the win 10.
Somehow the VM performance goes slow, it can boot to win 10 but i can't open anything, even task manager took so long to open it.
Is there any solution to recover the VM, cause I need to backup some license that activated to this VM?
