I have two 1600x1200 monitors arranged vertically; I want the Windows VM to use both monitors by default - it will use both if I use the "Cycle Multiple Monitors" button on the toolbar (but I only have the toolbar displayed for development).
However, if I shutdown the VM (using Start->Shutdown), next time I start it, it uses just the primary (top) monitor, but with vertical scrollbars.
If I now use the "Cycle Multiple Monitors" button again, it uses both monitors. If I then do Start->Restart, it will resume using the two monitors as desired, but will go back to one with scrollbars after I Shutdown.
I have done the obvious stuff in 'preferences' and the vmx file, but can't get the VM to use the desired behaviour by default.
