MSI failed -Vmware player

Hi everyone

I have this message when I try to install VMware player (any version) on my PC:

"

The MSI'C:\Temp\vmware_1428043151\vmwareplayer.msi'failed.

Service 'VMAuthdService'(VMAuthdService) failed to start. Verify that

you have sufficient privileges to start system services. "

Of course, I've tried to install as an administrator.

Any ideas?

Did you run the installer "As Administrator"?

Which anti virus application do you have installed (Avast)?

André,

As I said "Of course, I've tried to install as an administrator"

I have EPO because it's my computer at work.

Sorry, please don't mind me asking this. I was asking for this because it's not the same to install as a user with administrative permissions, or to install by right-clicking the installation package and select "Run as Administrator".
